ISOLATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF SIX
HIGHLY INTRINSIC FLUORESCENT

Six fluorescent compounds were isolated and characterized in rhizomorph of
A. mellea and were presented first as: F , F , F , MF , MF and MF . These
compounds differed by Rf on chromatoplaque, max in UV spectra and ex,
em and max in fluorescence spectra. Their GC-MS analysis indicated that F
has a phenolic moiety and the other five are the benzenic derivatives. F
compound was more fluorescent resulting from its hydroxyl group. The
difference between the fluorescent compounds of rhizomorph and hyphae
suggests the participation of some of these compounds in differentiation.
Moreover, these compounds may have antibiotic activity against their hosts or
enemies

6-Methyl- 1,2,4-triazine-3-(2H)-selenone-5(4H)-one(l) reacts in the presence of
base with phenacyl bromide to give a mixture of compounds (2) and (3). This mixture is dehydrated in the presence of H,SO, to give 3-phenyl-6 methyl-7H-selenazolo[3,2-b] [I ,2,4] triazin-7-one (6). For careful structure assignment of (6) its regioisomer 3-methyl-6-phenyl-4H-selenazolo [2,3-c] [ 1,2,4] triazin-4-one (8) was unambiguously synthesized and its spectroscopic data were Compared with those of (6)

THE EXTENDED LAW OF CORRESPONDING -
STATES AND THE INTERMOLECULAR
POTENTIALS FOR Ar-Ar, Ar-Kr AND Kr-Kr

An inversion procedure is used to obtain from the extended principle of
corresponding - states the pair interaction potentials for argon, krypton and its
mixture over a tetnperature range from absolute zero to the onset of ionization.
The experimentally-reduced viscosity collision integrals obtained from the
corresponding - states correlation have been inverted directly to give the
reduced-intermolecular potential energy curves corresponding to the collision
integrals. These directly determined potentials are in good agreement with the
potentials independently obtained from the molecular-beam scattering
measurements, which were fitted by ESMSV for Ar-Ar and Kr-Kr and by
SMSV for Ar-Kr

Every Seifert Fibre Group is the lift of a Fuchsian group to the universal

such a group. With the calculation of the Euler number, we can establish the
presentation of the derived group of a Seifert Fibre Group

THE ANALOGUE OF WEIGHTED GROUP
ALGEBRA FOR SEMITOPOLOGICAL
SEMIGROUPS

In [1,2,3], A. C. Baker and J.W. Baker studied the subspace Ma(S) of the
convolution measure algebra M, (S) of a locally compact semigroup. H.
Dzinotyiweyi in [5,7] considers an analogous measure space on a large class
of C-distinguished topological semigroups containing all completely regular
topological semigroups. In this paper, we extend the definitions to study the
weighted semigroup algebra Ma (S, o), where o is a weight function on a Cdistinguished
semitopological semigroup S. We will show that this subspace
is a convolution measure algebra. As acorollary, this answers in the affirmative
a question raised by J.W. Baker and H. Dzinotyiweyi in [6]

It has been shown that the Boltzmann equation for the viscosity of the A-phase of
superfluid 3He at low temperatures has the same form as for a normal Ferrni liquid.
The viscosity coefficients A, B, C, D and E are derived exactly. The h , parameter
plays an important role in determining the temperature dependence of the viscosity
coefficients
