The present study was carried out on two species of the Apocynaceae family, Rhazya stricta Decasine and Nerium 01eancder.L. Seed samples of these two genera were taken from the south-east of Iran and SDS-PAGE analysis of their proteins showed 35-88% and 40-80% similarities between different populations of each species respectively. In the protein groups from a selected population of each one of these two species and Vinca rosea L., another species of the Apocynaceae family, 47-55% similarity was observed. However, for identification of these genera, the possession of 2-5 protein groups which were present in excessive quantities could be used. Studies on mitotic and meiotic chromosomes in the various populations of Rhazya and Nerium showed that the basic chromosome number in both species was 1 1, (2n= 2x=22) but the small size of the chromosomes madekaryotyping problematic. In spite of this difficulty, the relatively larger chromosomes of one of the Nertum populations were prepared.}, keywords = {}, url = {https://jsciences.ut.ac.ir/article_31125.html}, eprint = {https://jsciences.ut.ac.ir/article_31125_eacc8ca2906b48a23e4ccb86adb05069.pdf} } @article { author = {}, title = {IDENTIFICATION OF A MYCOBACTERIUM AND A BREVIBACTERIUM PRODUCING ANTIBACTERIAL SUBSTANCES}, journal = {Journal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran}, volume = {7}, number = {4}, pages = {-}, year = {1996}, publisher = {University of Tehran}, issn = {1016-1104}, eissn = {2345-6914}, doi = {}, abstract = {Two strains, HG104 and ASSO, were isolated Crom the soil of Tehran's suburbs. The displacement of the target atoms during irradiation creates vacancies and other defects near the surface, thus enhancing the diffusion of implanted materials toward the surface and also into the solid. The mechanism has been studied here by a special method. An overcoat layer has been evaporated on the surface of the thin film sample following the implantation and the defects have been produced in the overcoat layer by another ion. The original implanted ions are observed to diffuse to the new surface through the open channels created by the auxiliary ions.
