Fusarium head blight (FHB) caused by Fusarium graminearum is responsible for billions of dollars in agriculture losses. The goal of the present study was evaluation the expression of acidic chitinase, one of PR proteins, in wheat defense response against different FHB induced treatments in 'Falat' as a highly susceptible and 'Sumai3' as a tolerant cultivar. These treatments contained fungi extract, spore suspension, DON and salicylic acid (SA). Infected spikes are sampled in 0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 36, 72 hours and 7 days after artificial inoculation and subjected to total RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis. Quantitative Real-Time PCR was performed with specific primer to detect expression differences between tolerant and susceptible cultivars. Output data was analysed using REST software, indicated differences in expression level of cultivars during the disease expansion cycle. These results support the emerging role of acidic chitinase gene in salicylic acid signaling pathway against necrotrophic fungal pathogen and demonstrate the effect of acidic chitinase gene in SAR signaling cascade against fungal extract treatment as PR protein inducer, as compare with these DON can’t act as a elicitor for acidic chitinase gene according to its expression profiling in this experiment. Results may serve as a foundation for dissecting mechanisms and regulations underlying FHB and SAR elicitors resistance reactions in wheat and revealing functions of the plant acidic chitinase gene in defense.

Chromosomal abnormalities are major causes of infertility, miscarriage and birth of handicapped progeny. In human live births, the prevalence of a chromosome aberration is ?0.5% and, of these, 0.1–0.3% correspond to structural chromosome rearrangements such as translocations, inversions, insertions and deletions .Our proband is an infant who had died 4 hours after birth due to a variety of abnormalities. Her parents referred to counseling centerfor their next pregnancy. The parents were clinically normal but there was some noticeable history of diseases in their familial pedigree. Combination of the infant's phenotypes and the family pedigree history, made chromosomal abnormality as a possible diagnosis. Cytogenetic analysis was performed on parents of the dead infant, proceeded with the chromosomal analysis of maternal grandparents of the infant. The man had a normal karyotype but the woman's karyotype was [46, XX, t (8:13) (q22:q32), add (15) (p.s)] which had inherited from her parents. This is the first report of rearrangement in region 8q22 and 13q23. This is a novel study due to the chromosomal bands are involved in translocation between chromosome 8 and 13. Moreover, the addition in chromosome 15 is a noticeable feature that its probable role in infant’s abnormalities should be considered.

The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 was covalently grafted with 3-chloropropyl trimethoxylsilane and then was reacted with [Cr(salpr)(H2O)]Cl, (salpr = N,N'-bis(3-salicylidenaminopropyl)amine) to afford MCM-41 containing Cr(salpr) moiety, Cr(salpr)MCM-41. Powder X-ray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption-desorption analyses revealed that not only the textural characteristics of the support were preserved during the grafting experiments but also the channels remained accessible despite sequential reduction in surface area, pore volume and pore size. The chromium content of the prepared catalyst was 0.57 mmol.g-1. The chromium-containing MCM-41 was shown to successfully catalyze the epoxidation of 1-hexene, 1-octene, cyclohexene, cyclooctene, trans-stilbene and norbornene and also benzylic oxidation of toluene and ethyl benzene with tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP).

The formation constants and Gibbs free energy for the interaction of RnSnClm (n = m = 2, R = Me, Ph, n-Bu or n = 4, m = 0, R = Ph) compounds as acceptors, with ML complexes (H2L = N,N'-bis(salicylidene)-2-aminobenzylamine (salabza-H2) and its derivatives, M = Mn2+ or Zn2+), as donors in N,N'-dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent were studied. These parameters were measured by using UV-vis spectrophotomety titration for 1:1 adduct formation of the selected complexes at 25 (±0.1) °C in the 200-500 nm regions. The trend of adduct formation constants between metal Schiff base complexes as donors and tin(IV) as acceptor decreases as follow:

[M(5-OMe-salabza)]>[M(salabza)]>[M(5-Br-salabza)]>[M(5-NO2-salabza)]

Interactions between Cd, pillared clays and chalcogenedies have been studied using nanomineralogical experiments. XRD, DSC and chemical analysis. The synchrotron-based X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) was applied to characterize the reaction phases. The mean bond lengths between, Cd-S, Fe-S, Sb-S, Cd-Cd (in chalcogenedies), Al-Cd, Cd-Ti, and Fe-Cd, (in pillared clays) were determined by XAS method. The ligands information around cadmium atoms was obtained directly from EXAFS and indirect from XANES experiments. Cadmium bearing phases and diffusion of Cd in phases were distinguished by HRXRD, SEM and EPMA. The XAS analysis showed that cadmium sorbed onto pillared clays through a distinct mechanism. These data indicated that the major adsorbent of Cd is a complex of Al, Ti and Fe pillared clays.

In this paper, we present a new path-following interior-point algorithm for -horizontal linear complementarity problems (HLCPs). The algorithm uses only full-Newton steps which has the advantage that no line searchs are needed. Moreover, we obtain the currently best known iteration bound for the algorithm with small-update method, namely, , which is as good as the linear analogue.

We investigate some properties of approximately quasi inner generalized dynamics and quasi approximately inner generalized derivations on modules. In particular, we prove that if A is a C*-algebra, is the generator of a generalized dynamics on an A-bimodule M satisfying and there exist two sequences of self adjoint elements in A such that for all in a core for , , then is approximately quasi inner.

In this paper, we give connection between the order of the generalized Baer-invariant of a pair of finite groups and its factor groups, when ? is considered to be the specific variety. Moreover, we give a necessary and sufficient condition in which the generalized Baer-invariant of a pair of groups can be embedded into the generalized Baer-invariant of pair of its factor groups.

Using Hartree-Fock Su-Sheriffer-Heeger (HF-SSH) model, we have studied the dependence of the energies of the ground (magnetic triplet state) and the first exited (nonmagnetic singlet state) states of the size-2 trigonal zigzag graphene nanoflake (size-2 NF) on the intensity of an external in plane static electric field at zero temperature. We identify a transition from the magnetic triplet state to a nonmagnetic singlet state in size-2 NF caused by the polarization energy induced by the in plane static electric field. This transition has a unique property of being accompanied by a sudden increase in the electric dipole moment of the size-2 NF.

In this paper, we calculate theoretically the relaxation rates of hot, thermal and antinodal quasiparticles by using Fermi’s golden rule. The transition probabilities at low temperatures express in terms of Bogoliubov coefficients, singlet and triplet scattering amplitudes and dimensionless Landau parameters. The values of Landau parameters may be determined by comparison with the experimental data. Furthermore, we calculate thermal conductivity coefficients of YBCO in terms of antinodal quasiparticle relaxation rates which are in accordance with experimental results.
