		<Abstract>One of the ways of haploid production is a cross between wheat and maize. Recently success has been achieved in this method, leading to the production of zygotes; these zygotes generally undergo elimination of maize chromosomes and thus lead to production of wheat haploid plant. The purpose of this study was to develop an efficient method of haploid production via maize pollination in short duration bread and durum wheat cultivars grown in Iran and India. Pollination of agronomically superior varieties of six hexaploid wheat (2n=2x=42): Golestan, Mahdavi MACS-2496, HD-2189, NIAW-34, NI-5439 and four tetraploid wheat (2n=2x=28): MACS-9, MACS-2846, MACS-1967, Raj-1555 with pollen from maize cultivar resulted in haploid embryos by post pollination treatment with four concentration of dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and silver nitrate (AgNO3). Treatment with 3 mgL?1 2,4-D plus (120-180 mgL?1 AgNO3) gave highest frequency of haploid embryos and haploid plants. In this study haploid embryos and haploid plants were produced from all of the ten genotypes, but frequency of haploid embryos (7.45%) and haploid plants (1.06%) in hexaploid wheat was more than haploid embryos (6.16%) and haploid plants (0.83%) in tetraploid wheat. We produced a total of 368 mature haploid plants.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>The homeobox genes are known to play a crucial role in controlling the development of multicellular organisms. The majority of these genes have been determined to express regulatory proteins act as a regulatory protein. These trans-acting factors regulate the expression of proteins that are necessary during the developmental processes throughout the body. TGIFLX/Y is a homeobox gene and it contains two genes: TGIFLX (X-linked) and TGIFLY (Y-linked) are specifically expressed in human adult testes. TGIFLX has originated from retrotransposition of TGIF2, located on long arm of chromosome 20 (q11.2-12), onto the X chromosome. To date, the role of TGIFLX/Y are unknown, therefore, in order to get insight into the potential roles of TGIFLX, we cloned and produced the GST-TGIFLX fusion protein. The purified protein was recognized by anti-GST antibodies. Through a single purification procedure using MagneGST beads, approximately 8 mg of the recombinant protein was obtained per liter from bacterial culture. The production of this recombinant protein will now permit the investigation of TGIFLX target genes as well as identification of co-factors or partner proteins involved in TGIFLX function in normal and abnormal development.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>In the desert of Abarkoh Basin, Central Iran, the influence of playa-lake level fluctuations on recent sedimentation mode of a terminal ephemeral fluvial-fan system and adjacent lacustrine/aeolian sediments of a playa fringe environment has been investigated. The surface geomorphology-sedimentology and its relationship with shallow subsurface sediments along a &gt;25 km transect, has been studied. The Abarkoh Basin is a NW-SE trending depression (&gt;150 km long and ~100 km wide) with a megafan (&gt;940 km2) originated to the west and laterally grades into distal fan and playa fringe (desert) environments. The late Quaternary evolution of the area represents the relative dominance of water versus wind transport and deposition as a function of variations in the discharge of ephemeral fluvial systems and fluctuations in groundwater table/playa-lake level. The combination of climatic change, human impact and to a lesser extent syndepositional tectonics resulted in a drawdown of the groundwater table or/and playa-lake level and associated recent periods of extensive deflation/deposition and its related shifts in dune development. Significant erosion and reworking of the dune fields was associated with their position in depocenters, partly controlled by the termination of the fluvial system in the playa periphery and/or the position of playa-lake level. The latter resulted in development of a sandy saline pan. This study emphasizes the importance of the rapid sedimentary and geomorphic environmental modification in distal parts of the terminal fans-playa fringe environments, areas that are particularly sensitive to desertification.</Abstract>

Let L1(K) be the hypergroup algebra of K and UCl(K) be the Banach space of bounded left uniformly continuous complex-valued functions on K. 		<Abstract>X-ray diffraction measurements were performed on Co?Pt1-?/Pd, Co/Pd, Co/Fe, and Co/W multilayer samples with different structures, such as Co?Pt1-? alloy layer composition ?, bilayer thickness, and number of bilayers. Multilayer samples were made by magnetron sputtering in a chamber with multi-parallel guns and a position controllable substrate. Co?Pt1-? alloy layers were deposited by cosputtering from Co and Pt targets mounted on guns tilted towards a common substrate. Compositions of Co and Pt in Co?Pt1-? layers were varied by use of different sputtering power. The thicknesses of magnetic and non-magnetic layers in multilayered samples were also systematically changed to investigate the relationship between X-ray diffraction lines and crystalline structures of multilayered films. It was found that the position of the main diffraction peak from multilayered films was solely determined by the crystalline structures within bilayers rather than bilayer thickness. A model was introduced to calculate microstructural parameters such as the thickness of interfaces and compositions at interfaces.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>In this paper a method for digitally recording four quarter-reference-wave-holograms (by CCD) in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer setup, and reconstructing the object wave-front by numerical method is presented. The terms of direct transmission, auto-correlation and conjugate wave in the four wave reconstruction are cancelled out and only one original object wave is left after overlapping. Reconstructed digital holograms are obtained by computing the Fresnel-Kirchhoff integral. Since the phase distribution of the wave field can be computed from the digital hologram, one can measure micrometric displacements and deformations of the reflecting object as well as small changes in refractive index field of the transmission object. In order to calibrate a specially designed device necessary for phase shifting purpose, we introduce a second Mach-Zehnder interferometer inside the main imaging interferometer. With this second interferometer we can directly observe displacement of a sector of circular interferometric fringes without the presence of the (reflecting or transmitting) object. By simultaneously transferring the images from the second interferometer to the computer and recording the holograms we measure, using image processing, fringe displacement in pixel units. Since the mirror on the phase shifting device is shared between two interferometers, the measured optical path difference is automatically applied in the main interferometer and thus the errors in shifting are substantially reduced.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>We used Wick’s normal-ordering technique, squeezed creation and annihilation operators, and a variation method, to find the eigenvalues of the general pure ?x2m potential. Numerical results for low-lying energy levels of pure quadratic, quartic, sextic, octic and decatic potentials, for different values of ? were obtained.
