The Journal of Sciences, Islamic Republic of Iran (JSIRI) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access, quarterly journal in English dedicated to the fields of Basic Sciences incluing Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics published by the University of Tehran. It is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to the publication of original research, review articles, etc., considering the research ethics and academic rules and regulations.   
    The journal publishes three types of papers: original research articles (regular articles), short communications (notes), and review articles. The regular papers should add new information to recent and previous findings. Original papers should cover an international interest. Reviews may be submitted by invitation; otherwise, they should cover a challenging or interesting area in the field of basic sciences.
